Carr seeks out “Main Street” locations in each community not for their address, but for the activity that naturally supports them. We believe energy can be brought to these locations through implementation of a mixture of uses appropriate to their unique needs, bolstered by on-site service and active event programming. This mixture of uses increases the times our projects are active throughout the day and diversifies their draw within the community, ultimately driving both value and security for our partners.
Carr primarily employs value-add and opportunistic strategies to generate superior, risk-adjusted returns for our investors. Our expertise spans ground-up construction, adaptive reuse, value-add acquisition and repositioning projects, with a particular focus on enhancing value through an innovative approach to operations. As a privately held company, we have flexibility to underwrite and execute deals across a variety of asset types, sizes and structures in order to secure the best opportunities in the market.
